Third party widgets

You can add widgets from external services to a Refined site. For example, adding a chat functionality from Intercom or Zendesk enables your users to contact you directly.

Get the widget’s code

To get code for an Intercom chat widget, go to Intercom’s website > Settings > Installation > Web.

To get code for a Zendesk chat widget, go to Zendesk’s website > Settings > Channels > Widget > create a widget.

Add the widget to a specific page on a Refined site

Paste the code into an HTML module in the page’s Layout Editor.

Add the widget to an entire Refined site

1. Go to the Refined Administration.

2. Click Sites in the left-hand menu.

3. Pick the site you want to add the widget to.

4. Go to the Configuration tab > Advanced Settings > Activate Custom HTML.

5. Paste your code in the At the end of BODY field.

Multiple options can be selected.
