Content Structure

This document aims to communicate the structure for content on our intranet.

Groups

Always ensure that the Intranet Spaces have the correct view permissions for all internal staff.

Spaces

  • All spaces in the intranet should be in the “intranet“ space category, team spaces need to have “teams“ space category too.

  • “internal” are allowed to create personal spaces.

Content structure

The intranet is divided into 4 main categories:

  • Teams

  • Projects

  • Resources

  • HR

Teams

  • Each team has their own space. There is one content owner per space who is responsible for all the content. “internal” have edit and comment permissions to all team spaces that the user can view. The content owner can give out higher permissions to specific users if needed.

Use the Team Space home template from this page for all Team Space Homes: Templates and Resources

  • There is an IT service desk where you can create IT requests.

Projects

The project category contains ongoing projects that follow these criteria:

  • The project needs to have an end date.

  • The project needs to be a cross team project. (If it’s not, it should probably be located inside inside a team space)

  • Fill out this form if you need a new project space: Request a project Space

Resources

  • This contains contain all high level information about the company, processes, strategies and OKRs.

HR

  • This contains Employee policies and guides, as well as the HR Service Desk.
